Prior to the time I called C.A. Matthews, I called two other A/C companies to look at the problem. The first said my unit wasn't worth working on without even seeing it and quoted $8900 to replace the unit. The second said I'd need to replace the condenser coil for $3165. Your mechanic Scott pointed out the leak and what caused it, then provided supplementary window units to help us. Wow! Very seldom do you receive this level of service anymore. Thank You

Most contractors specialize with one type of service. My issue was to find a contractor to remove an oil boiler and hot water heater, convert from oil to propane, install a combination heater and instant hot water device in one unit, install a ductless AC/heater in garage and a 24kw Generac generator. After many quotes and contractors, there was only one company that could do this huge undertaking and that was C.Albert Matthews in Easton. I live in Chester. Matthews serviced this area so I was in luck. One of the hardest issues I was faced was the coordination of installing this equipment in a timely order with the digging of the 500 gallon underground tank, getting the regulators lined up with the heater, at the same time shutting down heat for several days in the dead of winter. Matthews were kind enough to bring in big electric heaters for us to use during the installation at no charge. We did not ask for them, they were concern and helped us out. They installed our Combi unit that was beyond professionalism, if that is a term. All pipes were done with excellent precision including to the floor heating system. Electricians rewired and checked thermostats, replaced circuit breakers and labeled everything, including a wifi to connect to our new heater. During the installation of the heater, we had an outside water bid break. Fortunately, they quickly stopped the leaked and replaced it for me when they came back the next day. So, in conclusion, if you are looking to hire a foreman to do a major job or minor one, C.Albert Matthews is the only company to contact. In fact, their foreman, John coordinated everything at no charge because they all came from the same company. Also, their financing was great at no interest. You can't beat that.
