Really neat place to bring young kids and doesn't cost a fortune to get into. I would say the ideal age for this place is 3-5 but my 7 yr old had a great time here as well. It can get extremely busy inside though as it's not the largest area, but they do a good job making the most of all 3 levels. Its neat what they were able to transform an old fire station into. They had an outside area that was closed when I visited but looked like it would be fun for the kids. You can def burn a few hours here if you need something to do on a boring day.
A nice place to go with your little one to keep them busy for a couple of hours. Small abs not crazy like the Boston Children's Museum. They also have yearly passes that are worth it if you go more than once.
Great place for kids under 5. As a Nanny I bought a year membership which allows you to visit other children's museum, well worth the price.
We held our son's 3rd birthday party here yesterday. What an amazing time he and all of his friends had! What an amazing time all of us parents had! I highly recommend paying the extra to get the museum to yourselves for a few hours. You're in a contained but large space where the kids are free to roam and parents can relax and know that everybody is safe and having fun. Alexis at the musem was so sweet & helpful - she finished setting up the party room and insisted on cleaning everything after pizza & cake so we could continue to enjoy the party. Even if my son doesn't remember this birthday in the long run, his dad and I certainly will, very fondly!
Had our sons 3rd birthday party here. What a great place! Every kid in the place was smiling the whole time. We highly recommend spending a few hours here!
