  Very friendly staff. Absolutely beautiful place to dine. Would like to try a different meal though. Mine was cooked well, but needed a bit more flavor. I hear the steaks and prime rib were amazing.

  Been going here with family for years before it has been redone and it was already good but now it's great. Salad bars are nice and well stocked. The cinnamon swirl bread is delicious as well. You can dine or sit at the bar area can't go wrong either way!

  Jason was a fabulous waiter. I haven't been here in years .I was a little indecisive and being a server myself Jason far exceeded his service...he made great suggestions and what a great meal. I cannot say enough what a great way to start a New Year . Kudos to Jason he is an asset to the industry and hands down great food. We will definitely be back!!! ?⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  I just wanted to express my complete gratitude towards The Old Grist Mill Tavern. It was my family's first time there on Saturday (12/21) and we had a wonderful experience. My new (and temporary) diet consists of a low sodium one. Dining out is definitely one of my favorite things to do but it has been a struggle to find places that can accommodate my dietary needs. On a whim, since we were in the area, we called the GMT and they said they could accommodate and the hostess double checked with the kitchen. Not only we were greeted with a warm welcome but our server, Jason, was just as warm and even more knowledgeable. He was extremely helpful in letting me know what items contained a high salt/sodium content and made his suggestions based on that. I felt like I was being treated like royalty however, I know Jason was trying to make sure I had a wonderful and more importantly safe experience. You honestly don't see servers like Jason anymore. You can tell he really cares about his work, team and guests. Being in the hospitality industry, I know reviews and such are so vital to a restaurants success and morale so I had to say something. Thank you Jason for taking care of me and my family! I will be back - hopefully with less restrictions - and continue to enjoy the variety and flavors of the Grist Mill Tavern!

  Just had a delicious lunch with my wife. I had the shaved steak sandwich and lobster bisque, she had the same but with clam chowder. Everything was perfect. Service excellent (thank you Lorna!)
