  Nice place to take your kids for the day in the summer it's free & fun also has a park as well

  My kids 4 and 6 loves it here, the list of amenities include a freshwater pond you can swim in that is shallow enough to be suitable for young children, and a sandy beach. There is a very nice outdoor playground. There is plenty of picnic spots with tables and charcoal BBQ grills and a large field for kids to run and play. There are also restrooms and limited lifeguard availability as well. Overall a great time.

  Went for a family function. There is ample parking available, but be advised it's pay to park. The entrance sign comes up quick on the street so be careful when driving. The grounds are fairly well maintained, but there was a little broken glass and some cigarette butts. The scenery is very nice and the pond was open for swimming. There were DCR staff on site.

  Great for kids! Playground, areas in shade with picnic tables. Beach area with roped off swim area. Fishing area. Restroom. Parking fee is $8 unless you have handicapped placard then its free

  Stopped here to do a bit of shore fishing, a limited commodity in the area. This park has some, plus swim beach, picnic areas, playground, restrooms, and adequate parking. Fishing was great with flies for hand sized sunfish and yellow perch. Down side is the cost of the parking, 15 out of state, 8 otherwise.
