(January 16, 2019, 9:35 am)I've recently been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis; my body had a sudden, painful meltdown due to a recent stressful life event. l'm a fit, active 62-year old female who loves road cycling. Haven't been to a Physical Therapist for over 15 years, and those PT experiences were all negative for many reasons. Well, I'm grateful to say Heather and Mary Kate at Bay State are not your "average" Physical Therapists. They are wonderful! Both are so caring, detailed, professional, thorough, and fun, too. I actually look forward to my twice weekly sessions, and I follow through with an excellent home routine they provide. I'm making wonderful progress. You can tell their goal is to get their patients better. They provide such a wonderful atmosphere, too: clean, orderly and relaxing. Thank you, Heather and Mary Kate. I'm so happy to share this good news with as many as possible.

I cannot thank both Mary Kate and Heather enough for improving my overall health and reducing pain and increasing my mobility. The office administration is very efficient. The location has easy access and the latest PT equipment. Choose them!

(August 10, 2018, 10:17 am)Can't say enough good things about Heather and the care and attention she gave me with my injury. I have had repeated running injuries over the years and have seen a variety of physical therapists - she was by far the best. I felt she truly cared about my goals, listened to my progress and was continuously adjusting the program as my needs shifted. I was able to get back running much more quickly than anticipated and - best of all - I feel I now have the tools to avoid future injuries and strengthen my body.

(May 7, 2018, 8:17 pm)When I first decided to have physical therapy to correct an issue with my foot, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I decided to make an appointment with Heather Waters at Bay State Physical Therapy in Reading. (She has a new location in Ipswich.) The clinic is very welcoming. Heather greeted me and we got to work right away. Her knowledge about body mechanics combined with her delivery and instruction of techniques to get me back on the road to a pain-free recovery of function immediately put me at ease. Her sense of humor and her compassion was a bonus. I actually looked forward to our therapy sessions and I would recommend Heather and Bay State Physical Therapy to anyone with limited range of motion or physical pain.
