(October 26, 2019, 8:45 am)Historic Emerson Inn's restaurant. Don't know if tavern is the correct title as there is only a small bar separate from the dining area. Dining room is a large single room with scattered tables and chairs that are meant to get you up after an hour (uncomfortable). Small menu featuring some nice preparations executed tastefully. We enjoyed, a cheese board with jam and honey placed directly on the board, would have preferred small vessels of these accompaniments. Salmon won tons, NY strip, and Scallops. Nothing visually spectacular but the flavors where on point. Very small wine list. Seasonal place April-October.
