First time going to Ritu Ki Rasoi, and had a great experience. It's tough to find good Indian food at restaurants when you always have to compare it to Mom's cooking, but the food at Ritu's was definitely one of the best I've had outside of home cooking. I liked being able to choose a bunch of different dishes to try as part of a meal with roti. The price was much cheaper than I was expecting as well. For good vegetarian Indian food, you can't go wrong here.
LOVED eating here for the first time. Amazing flavors mean you don’t even think about the lack of meat in the dishes (which is an accomplishment for a big meat eater). Spice level was also spot on. Great and affordable lunch buffet.
Great spicy food. Had mainly street food first time. Everything was lovely. Had the combo with chapatis the next time - was still fantastic. Gobi manchurian was also amazing. Filter coffee is definitely Indian. Thandai was a great option too. Came twice in four days!
I've been coming here for years and enjoying the food. Then I spent a significant time in Chennai. Coming here now brings back memories because of the flavors, textures and spice levels in their food. The buffet service provided constant variety but don't fill your plate too much. You want to leave room for the dosas and chapatis they bring out fresh into the dining room. Some may find the spices too aggressive here, but to me they're authentic. Others may like the Indian desserts though I tend to find them overly sweet. Either way there's plenty to enjoy here.
Ritu ki Rasoi looks like a hole in the wall restaurant. However the food generally tastes great. They really need to work on the order in which food comes out. Sometimes the snacks come after the entrees. Also they need to do a better job clearing tables during rush hour. The food as I stated before is generally great and compensates for other areas.
