  Went here for a quick lunch yesterday and got their roasted garlic chicken vegetable soup. Wow, the soup was so delicious. It was not super salty and had tons of flavor. The soup had tons of vegetables--potatoes, celery, peppers, tomatoes--so yummy!! I got the medium size with a slice of bread and it just cost $5! I ended up eating some for lunch and the rest for dinner.
  
  I love that they rotate their soups daily and have fresh sandwiches available too. They also have chips, drinks, and other snacks as well.

  I just ate the best sandwich I have ever had, no joke. I've never had anything bad here but the 1000 Island Roast Beef is delicious. I usually only get delivery but if you get the chance to go into the shop you should. They have so much more than what is listed on the menu. Either way this place is awesome.

  To be totally transparent, this is a great lunch spot. The reason for 4 stars is that I live literally up the street from here and around lunch time the absolute chaos with illegal parking that is caused on Glen Ave. is totally out of control and the cops will do nothing about it because they eat here 2. Do people not see the like 15 no parking signs on this steep, narrow, blind hill street?
  
  Other than that, great fresh food, hardworking super friendly staff. A bit expensive sometimes. You can't go wrong with the food here, just for god's sake please stop with parking in illegal spots. Would you enjoy it if an army of people practically blocked access to your house because they think it is ok to just do it anyway? Like literally parked with a massive trailer on a huge work truck nicely situated under at least 2 non parking signs?

  Soups and sandwiches always amazing and fresh . Can't go wrong with anything. Staff are the nicest people I've ever met. Always a hello and a smile. I would give Sammy's more than 5 stars if I could.

  Me and my coworkers order here a lot for lunch. I don’t think we have ever had anything bad the food is always excellent it’s probably the freshest sub rolls I have ever had! I would highly and have recommended this place!
