  Best ice cream around!!! My family has been coming here for *decades* for their fresh, local, delicious desserts! Would highly recommend Buttercrunch (intense sweet flavor, popular with the little ones) and Black Raspberry (a unique speciality of Kimball’s) - you also can’t go wrong with any of the tried & true flavors like Chocolate, Strawberry or Cookies & Cream (of my fav twist on that: Mint & Cookies). WARNING: sizes are all gigantic! If you want a normal serving, order the “kiddie” size - even a “small” will blow you away with its sheer volume! Add “jimmies” (chocolate sprinkles) to top off any order :) also, note that this location closes for the winter, but you can always go to Westford Kimball’s for full ice cream + mini golf experience. Either way, please visit, you won’t be disappointed!

  This place is fantastic. Kimball's does it right at all of their locations. They have about five locations including their Farm Stand. All the locations offer different experiences. The Carlisle location is ice cream only no food. The other locations offer very good food.
  
  The one thing I'll say about Kimball's is they make their own ice cream. It is a superb product and very high quality. They give you a large portion for $5.50 and you're lucky if you can finish it. They seem to understand that you can buy a half a gallon of good ice cream for that at a grocery store so they better give you a good portion. We know that the higher price for that amount of ice cream goes to pay the help and insurance and the other things of running a business. But they Excel there also . There's plenty of trash cans, potted flowers everywhere, and they have about 15 solar panels on the roof also. I like seeing an energy conservative small business doing an excellent job and that is Kimball Farms.

  I wish I took a picture of the menu because they have a huge selection of unique flavors. I got the frozen pudding in a mini size and a mocha almond (I forgot the name of the flavor) in small. They were both delicious and and much larger than I expected them to be, so basically this was my entire dinner. The staff was also very helpful, and they allow you to sample the flavors, too. The atmosphere is very peaceful since it's out in the country, and the seating is outside. There are a lot of wasps, but I found them pretty cute because all they do is eat the ice cream that drips on to the tables.
  One of the only downsides is that you can only get two flavors at once if you get a size large.

  Lots of flavors to choose from and huge servings. There's always a crowd but we were served in a pretty timely manner.
  The chocolate peanut butter swirl and the coffee turtle were both delicious. We got kiddie sized and it was like a small or a medium size from other places.
