    Finally a sleep doctor who listens and considers her patient's lived experience before suggesting a plan--an unfortunately rare practice among the sleep specialists I have seen recently. My last two talked AT me, cramming the few words I managed to sneak in edgewise into their own pre-conceived notions (one insisted five hours per night was sufficient, despite my well-documented sleep apnea; another told me with a straight face that I should just go to bed at 7:30 since I always woke up at 3 a.m.).
    Under Dr. Mehta's care I am finally beginning to function again. I highly recommend her practice.

    Dr. Mehta was warm, friendly, and welcoming. She was through and asked lots of questions. This was my first visit with Dr. Mehta and I am looking forward to seeing her again at my follow up appointment.
