Both of my children and I have studied at Metrowest Tang Soo Do. The instructors and fellow students have become a friendly and encouraging extension of our own family. The total number of years of martial arts experience amongst the instructors is staggering, most of whom also have had their own kids train at the school over the years. Beyond this studio itself, Metrowest TSD is part of the larger American Tang Soo Do Association. By training here you also will meet, compete with, and become friends with other martial artists in New England, across the United States, and even around the world. This is a great studio to learn a traditional approach which conveys discipline, fitness, and self-defense.
Metro West TSD is a great studio. The environment is supportive and the instructors help students of any level improve. The kids classes are run in a fun way that helps the kids enjoy and learn.
I received my black belt many years ago and decided I needed to try to return to my original style of Tang Soo Do. I have found this studio and its complement of masters level instructors to be not only welcoming but also patient as I try to remember what I learned years ago. Master Boudrot has superior skills and the patience of a saint. Masters Foley and Nugent bring years of experience to the teaching styles. Master Fernette adds humour to his considerable skill set. Instructor Mr Von Kelsch is consistently supportive and strives to enable his students to do their best.All in all, you could not ask for a better team of instructors. I'm indeed fortunate to have been accepted as a student at this school.
I've trained at Metro West Tang Soo Do for 6 years. The atmosphere of this studio is amazing. The instructors are encouraging and patient towards their students. Tang Soo Do has helped me with my confidence in school and improved my attitude overall. I am always grateful for how much Tang Soo Do has improved my life.
My two sons have been going to Metro West Tang Soo Do for the last 3 years. The instructors are incredible and very knowledgeable. My sons have learned so much besides karate including respect, leadership skills, good sportsmanship and gained new friends in the process.
I couldn't be any more happy with the training they are receiving and I highly recommend Metro West Tang Soo Do.
