  I had been suffering from severe upper back pain for several years, caused by stress and sitting in front of a computer. My doctor suggested I take Tylenol, but I didn't want to, because I knew it would only mask the problem, not solve it. I wanted to get acupuncture treatment, but my provider, Neighborhood Health Plan, will only cover acupuncturists who are also medical doctors. Fortunately, they referred me to Comprehensive Medical Services.
  Over the past eight months, I have been treated by both Dr. Doyle and Hudson Doyle. They explained the nature of my problem thoroughly, as well as their approach: traditional Chinese acupuncture, which requires two treatments per week for the first few months. I assured Hudson that I was willing to commit to two weekly visits, because I really wanted to get better.
  Within the first few weeks, my back pain began to disappear, and was almost entirely gone within three months. In addition, I slept better and had more energy than ever before. Hudson said that acupuncture helps the body heal itself, and it does. In fact, the treatment makes me feel so much better that I now look forward to my appointments.

  I came to Comprehensive Medical Services due to pain in my left knee due to a torn meniscus and fractured and displaced knee cap, pain in my upper right thigh due to the displacement of my right leg's gait as a result of the left injury and pain in my right wrist due to a fractured scaphoid at the proximal pole, digestive disorders and eye spots after utilizing acupuncture and other non surgical and non pharmaceutical treatments in a few other locales - all of which brought relief and greater functionality but still I had chronic lingering issues - after a thorough analysis of the state of the current state of the body Dr and Hudson Doyle provided a framework and time frame for achieving optimum health again and after about three months of seeing them twice a week , I have complete relief of all symptoms and really function better than ever. I appreciated that they do not use any alcohol wipes when putting in the needles that both the Dr and Hudson swap the delivering of the acupuncture so you have the benefit of two different styles and training - the practice has a familial atmosphere and protocol - they also treated very thoughtfully an amputee and brain injured friend of mine who had to remain in a wheelchair at all times.- they have very thoroughly answered my queries about the treatment and acupuncture and Chinese medicine generally exposing a depth of knowledge between them buttressed by study in China itself - they also made reasonable flexible accommodation to my budget - highly recommended

  I started seeing Hudson Doyle at Comprehensive Medical Services (CMS) after suffering several months with knee pain from running. After my thorough consultation, I discovered he could also treat my migraines and stomach pain. I have had migraines for over 30 years and relied on prescription medications that only minimally relieved my pain. I also suffered from stomach pain that was associated with work related stress. I was tired of taking medications that only masked my symptoms and therefore never resolved them. As a physician, I know all to well the side effects of the medications that I was taking. To come across Hudson Doyle and his natural approach to my ailments was an opportunity that I could not pass up without giving it a try.
  I began seeing him in May 2014 and now five months later, I can honestly say that the majority of my symptoms are significantly reduced. I now go months without a migraine. My stomach pains are decreasing in frequency and intensity. And as for my knee pain, I am excited to be running again.
  I would definitely, without hesitation, recommend Comprehensive Medical Services and the work of Hudson Doyle to anyone looking to relieve their ailments in a natural and healthy way.

  I was referred to Comprehensive Medical Services by a friend and I am very glad to have found them. I went specifically for treatment of lower back pain. Although I’m only in my late 30’s, I've periodically struggled with back pain due to an injury in junior high school. The pain has been on and off through my life, however, with the most recent flare-up, the pain was not subsiding on its own. The pain was significant, especially after any type of physical exercise. It affected my sleep, and I had trouble getting into a comfortable position when sitting or lying down. After living with it for over a year (and not getting much relief from Western medicine), I decided to give acupuncture a try.
  New to acupuncture, I found Hudson’s approach to be very helpful. During my first few sessions I got an introduction of how Chinese medicine works, the principles behind it, and how I would be treated. I felt a good deal of relief after the first couple of treatments. I also noticed that acupuncture treatments had a lot of other positive effects – the most noticeable was a drastic increase in my energy level. Before going to CMS, most days even after multiple cups of coffee, I felt sleepy all day. After acupuncture I had a much higher energy level and felt more awake. This positive side benefit has stuck with me throughout my treatment. I also got help with some other health issues that I had most noticeably I saw significant improvement with both sinus and allergy issues.
  My overall health and wellness has improved significantly since beginning acupuncture. I have zero back pain, and am not limited in any way. Even when doing heavy lifting during yard work, I don’t have to deal with pain flare ups for days or weeks afterward. My allergies have also been much better. I no longer have to take allergy medication on a daily basis during the spring. My immune system has improved (I get sick less), and I just feel better and more energized. I would highly recommend Hudson Doyle, Dr. James Doyle, and CMS to anyone who is interested in trying acupuncture or who suffers from a chronic condition. I trust both their treatment and guidance.

  I have always been an anxious person, but with menopause settling in, the death of both my parents, and a stressful job, my body shut down. I was suffering from a dry throat, shortness of breath, exhaustion, sleeplessness, and was having trouble completing day to day tasks. I was told by my GP to go on meds for anxiety-- the happy pills --but I did not want to do that. I have too many friends taking those and they keep increasing the dosage and are not getting better. I wanted a natural approach to making me feel better. Hudson explained that this would not be a quick fix, that I needed to get rid of the symptoms but more importantly I needed to correct what was causing the issues. I have been going a few months now and I have to say, I have never slept better in the 25 years since I had my children! My hormones are stabilizing and my symptoms are significantly better. I now have full energy and can complete daily tasks without problems. I had so many issues , I knew this was going to be a challenge and would take some time. Hudson listens to me and thinks outside the box to make me feel better. I am so happy that I found them.
