Long Term Care Insurance Planning

  As most people know, understanding insurance is daunting. And long term care insurance is at the high end of the complexity scale among all insurance products. Fortunately, I found an honest insurance broker that was patient with my wife and me as she explained all about it. Meredith Pensack made this daunting task an enjoyable experience. She explained all aspects and options of the coverage, and she created a package tailor made for us that met our protection needs while also staying within our premium expense comfort zone. Meredith is extremely articulate and an expert in her field. And best of all, she is a kind and helpful person that allowed us to get comfortable with our informed choices based on facts and data she provided. I cannot recommend her highly enough.   Meredith Pensack is one of the finest services professionals I have had the pleasure of dealing with - ever.
  
  On a purchase decision that most buyers show up unexcited for at best and apprehensive and uninformed about at worst, she rapidly takes charge of the situation and explains the value proposition in a concise and audience-appropriate manner. As our conversations unfolded, with her command over the products, options, price/value trade-offs, and overall context, it seemed as if my wife and I were speaking with a PhD on the subject - but on her front porch. Further, at each step, many times just as I was about to ask a question, she rolled into that new sub-topic without a queue because it was obviously the next part of the natural flow of making these purchase decisions and she is in-tune with the clients' concerns.
  
  I think this particular product has to handled frankly from a pure business-risk/affordability perspective as well as diplomatically, depending on the emotional state of the customer. Meredith was perfect. My wife and I are finance executives in our early 50's, looking for a reasonable level of coverage, we have a practical outlook, we have had a few relatives that have not fared well health-wise and we have a good sense of humor. Meredith was just perfect with us - we really enjoyed talked with her. I am certain that she would be wonderful with any other demographic and need mix that showed up looking for a proper solution as well. It is obvious that she listens very carefully to what her clients are telling her and then she works to come back efficiently within a proper range of price/value/need trade-off of options that makes sense and not waste a lot of time re-running "what-if" scenarios.
  
  Someone else noted in a review that this is a person that you really want on your side. I couldn't agree more. She would probably have excelled as a defense attorney with her thoroughness and complete command of the material. Her truthfulness and caring really come through in a genuine manner. For all the money I've probably left on the table over the years, I wish Meredith had been selling me automobiles, but this is more important.

  Meredith Pensack provided an extremely thorough review of our Long Term Care Insurance policy that had been in effect for the past ten years. Our concern was the monthly premium increase. During two conference calls many of the intricacies of the policy were made much more understandable. Points that were not made by the original selling agent at the inception of this policy were explained (inflation rider, shared protection and accrued growth). Meredith was patient and very generous with her time. We highly recommend her as a premier agent for Long Term Care Insurance.
