(September 29, 2020, 6:30 am)We reported a scam operation happening in Newton shopping areas. The dispatcher promptly sent an officer to my home to record the details. Both the dispatcher and the officer were complete professionals, pleasant, courteous and thorough. The officer offered what limited information he could including reassurance that I was doing everything correctly. It was a confidence building experience, for which the Newton Police deserve our support and respect.

(July 21, 2018, 6:53 pm)I had a minor car accident today, but because it was my first accident I was very nervous and anxious and the officer that arrived was incredibly helpful. He helped me relax and walked me through the following steps. It was the best experience I've ever had with an officer!
