Arnold House Nursing Home - Private Nursing Home

My mother moved in July, 2015 - her room was absolutely beautiful. I can't say enough about the staff - they were loving and attentive. I appreciated how collaborative they were with my family and respectful of our requests. The food was excellent (we always looked forward to eating lunch with her or attending their holiday parties). I visited always almost daily and the activity director always had something going on (live music, visiting animals, movies, bingo, discussing the morning paper, etc.) The facility was always clean and well staffed - the best part was that it looks like your own home. I would highly recommend the Arnold House. My mother passed away in 2019 and we are so grateful she was able to spend her final years in such an amazing place. - Barbara

The Arnold House staff cared for my Dad for almost 2 years prior to his passing. He suffered with advance dementia and the staff took the time to learn about him and connect with him. They treated Dad with kindness and compassion and were welcoming of our entire family. The facility is small and very homey with extremely caring and efficient staff.

Our uncle was in two other long term care facilities prior to coming to Arnold house. The difference in the quality of care is remarkable. At Arnold house the staff has taken the initiative to learn about who our uncle is as a person and have tailored his care around his likes, dislikes and needs. They have gone out of their way to accommodate him while also taking on responsibilities and tasks which at any other facility would have fallen on his family. We are very pleased that we have found a place that is so caring and attentive. They are the best.

Arnold House is the most amazing place! My husband has a form of Parkinson’s disease that made it impossible for me to care for him safely at home, even with extra help. At home we were just wondering when the next fall or infection would occur, and if it would be the last.
But here at Arnold House the care is impeccable, and after just 9 months, he is now stable. His doctors are delighted and very impressed. An important part of the care at Arnold House is the communication. If there are any issues at all with his care or his condition, they are communicated to the rest of the staff immediately, and addressed right away. They pay scrupulous attention to detail.
All of the staff are extremely respectful, friendly, and loving of each and every resident. I visit my husband there every day, and feel more than anything else like I’ve just joined a larger family. Since I usually have a meal with him, I can tell you firsthand and without reservation that the food there is simply fabulous ... like a really nice restaurant! (As it happened, on my birthday, the dinner was Lobster Thermidor!)
Arnold House is frequently visited by professionals whose job it is to inspect nursing homes in the Boston area. Every one I’ve spoken with has assured me that of all the places they visit, Arnold House is far and away the best, and definitely the place they would want to send any loved one in their family who needed nursing home care.
My husband and I are incredibly fortunate to have found this small and wonderful home!
