We have two kids at Next Gen and have had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, professional and super patient (which given the ages and energy levels of their students is impressive!). The school is always clean and filled with fun toys that encourage learning. Having meals and snacks prepped by school is also a huge benefit. We look forward to the next year for our oldest and next three for his sister.
Very happy with overall experience. All staff members are great, very friendly and caring. One of the best initiative I like is that the center provides up-to-date information on what's going on with my kid and whats going on at the center, through an app. I can read/see what my kids ate, what they learned, what/where they played so I can be assured that they are in good hands, enjoying their time. When I see a smile in my kids face, enjoying/playing with friends at the center, it makes my day!
We have had two kids at Next Gen since they were infants. I am continually impressed with how well the teachers know and understand my kids. They are sensitive and attentive to each of their needs, and are constantly teaching me things about how to approach different developmental ages. Every single teacher in the school knows my kids' names (regardless of whether or not they have taught them) and greets them by name in the hallways. As a working parent, it makes my life so much easier that Next Gen provides all food throughout the day (even breakfast!) and does laundry as well. I love that there is a well established curriculum at each age level to develop gross motor skills, literacy, etc. The daily report you receive via email not only gives you the details of you child's day (meals, naps, etc) but also reports on the various enrichment activities the class did, often with pictures of your child included. As a parent who was initially nervous about leaving her infant child in the care of someone else, I was instantly put at ease by the staff at Next Gen and feel that my kids have had superb care as well as socio-emotional and academic growth there.
My children have attended this day care for over 5 years. We could not say enough positive things about the level of care and love our children receive. I am an OT and I am always impressed with the amount of fine motor, gross motor, and sensory information that is included on the daily report. I highly recommend this center if you are looking for loving, fun, and educational based staff! We also switched day cares temporarily due to change in commute for my spouse, and it was not nearly as impressive as Next Generations. We switched back the following month, switched our work schedules and stuck out the extra 20 minute commute just for their daily care!
We have a four year old and a two year old currently attending Next Gen in Sudbury. We couldn’t be happier with the experience our children have had so far. Both of them had a nanny for the first year and half of their lives and we were concerned at how they would transition. Next gen has made that transition seamless. We saw an immediate improvement in their social skills and communication. The daily activities (that we get to see from the app) from creativity to fine motor skills make the days fun for the kids and are clearly getting them prepared for their next steps in their ever changing lives. The teachers - Monique, Michelle, Andrea, Claudia, Tammy, Allison (to name a few) have been an absolute pleasure and provide both positive and negative feedback with the utmost professionalism and a sense of care. To be able to walk in and never be concerned about dropping your children off is an absolute sense of relief. I am met with actual interactions from management not just the arbitrary hi/have a good day. All of them make it a point to know everyone’s names, the parents and children (I find that astonishing!). Tanisha, along with everyone else, does an amazing job at creating an environment that you look forward to having your kids be a part of. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
