(May 1, 2019, 8:15 pm)Great day trip for little ones or those with an interest in butterflies or wildlife. They have more than butterflies. The garden itself is nice to see prior to spring outside. They had moths and little scurrying fowl of some sort. My 11 month old like to see the creatures fly around. My 5 and 7 year old had fun finding and observing the different stages of the butterfly's development. Some of the rooms could use a bit of updating.

(March 4, 2019, 10:07 pm)Small, but a great spot to kill some time looking at the butterflies! My 11 month old was a good age because she was happy to be carried around and not wanting to touch too much, but a child that is walking and between 1-3 might be tough to keep interested. I saw elementary aged kids there though too that LOVED seeing how many butterflies they could find from a chart they give you!

(February 15, 2019, 12:06 pm)As long as as you are ever watchful, this really is a place everyone can enjoy. If you come right after opening day (2/14/19), they might hand you a free admission as most of the butterflies are still working their way out of their chrysalis. Will definitely be coming back in the spring to use it. In the meantime, I learned a lot about which plants I grow can help bees and butterflies, so off to the local garden-store we go!
