This is my guilty pleasure. I adore everything about this place. The atmosphere, the super friendly staff, and of course the food and drinks. They make the best Mexican hot chocolate! And crepes! If you're looking for something different, you gotta check this hidden gem out.
Rhapsody is one of the best breakfast places in the area, classy and elegant, clean, and a menu unlike any menu for miles. Their crepes are excellent, and you can build your own type of savory or sweet crepe with the fresh ingredients listed. Or, you can try some of their inventions with interesting names like “Figgy Piggy,” one of my favorite savory crepes with prosciutto and cambozola cheese in a bruleed fig sauce, arugula and balsamic vinegar. And don't forget their amazing coffees, better than the more famous franchise coffee competitors, Rhapsody's coffee is always perfect and and tasty, never burnt. I learned to test coffees by trying them black, and Rhapsody's coffee can be enjoyed straight, but of course they have all the faves like lattes and macchiato and other surprises, just check the board. The dining area has a great ambience, downstairs and upstairs, and the service has always been top notch and attentive. I’ve always associated Massachusetts with unique places to eat, and Rhapsody’s Victorian Coffee House epitomizes this.
Delicious and unique coffee drinks! Owner is super nice! We will definitely be back 😊
This is a true Victorian Café place. Such awesome ambience and decor is very selective. Owner and all staff is always smiling and cheerful. Delight to spend good personal thinking time.
This was an intentional travel stop for my family to check out this small business famous for coffee and crepes. I have years of experience making sweet and savory crepes and can definitely say that their very almost as good as mine. Crepes were fresh and on a thicker side with great combinations of fillings - yes, they are on the pricier side, so just be informed. Their croissants were great, as well as muffins. Unfortunately they did not have any other dessert options but it can be due to a late morning time or day of the week we visited.
Oh and about coffee - coffee was great! You will definitely feel the quality and can use their menu positions or work with the owner to decide on your own custom drink. Also try the cold brew that they make in house using the Japanese style slow-drip coffee brewer tower, you will love the new flavor notes of the drink.
All in all it is a great place to get a great coffee and a quick breakfast/brunch, very well designed around the Victorian style with lots of details. You do order by yourself at the counter and then they either bring it out to your table or you pick it up once your order is ready.
My only suggestion would be to shorten the menu and have it also printed in small brochures - it will help people in line to know what they want to order quicker and will shorten the time at the counter as well as the pressure to know what to get while there are other people in line behind you.
