  As I have multiple chemical sensitivity, I need people I meet to be fragrance free and wearing clothes washed in a less toxic laundry product. Both Joy Ann Deane, the dentist, and her assistant Tina were very willing to do this. When I arrived for my first visit to the Dental Center of Harvard, I was feeling a little nervous as I had had problems at my previous dental office, but Tina’s cheerful welcome and the good air quality in the waiting room put me at ease. Dr. Deane herself radiated warmth, confidence, and acceptance. She took time to explain to me the problems and potential problems that the x-rays revealed. I have not yet had my first treatment, but I feel confident that Dr. Deane and Tina will do everything possible to make it go well.

  My experience with Dr.Dean’s office has been very positive. I used to be afraid to go to the dentist but now I don’t mind going to my dental checkups. Dr. Dean and staff have shown me that there are people in this world who care enough to be gentle and helpful in any dental situation. I finally feel like there is hope for my oral health to improve.

  Great experience, positively the better way to go to a dentist. Gentle cleanings, sensitive and communicative. From reception, to hygienist, to dentist all are just fine.
