  The staff at the Blair house are so kind. I trust my loved one is getting the best possible care. The building itself feels very homey as compared to other facilities which feel more like a hospital setting. I highly recommend this campus for a loved ones progression of care.

  Blaire House of Milford provides quality care to it's residents including their families. I have honestly never seen a group of more caring, dedicated, and compassionate caregivers in my over 20 years as a registered nurse in long term care. The staff genuinely care about their residents and treat them as if they are their own personal family members. The quality care provided is evident in the Facility's 5 star rating from CMS and their recent Deficient Free Survey. It is a true testament that the Owner/President of the company knows the majority of the residents, families and staff by name. He is frequently in the facilities talking to front line staff about how to improve the care provided to our senior population. I would highly recommend Blaire House of Milford to any family looking for short term rehabilitation or long term care.

  For 13 months my mom lived at Blaire House of Milford before her death at 95 years young. She was very well cared for by the CNA’s and nursing staff. She was treated with respect and affection. As my Mom declined and eventually became completely bedridden, she was transferred onto an air mattress for her comfort and well being and she never developed bed sores. My mom was comfortable right to the end. I couldn’t be more thankful for that or more appreciative. Thank you Blaire House for making my Mom’s end of life so peaceful for her and my family. I will never forget all you did for her, I am so grateful. I highly recommend Blaire House of Milford Nursing Home, for excellent care when looking for the best placing for your loved one. Its a small nursing home, family owned and operated for many years, and you feel like part of the family.

  I am disappointed to see all these negative reviews and wanted to address them. Full disclosure I am a social work consultant and I have worked for this company. I have been working in Skilled Nursing Facilities for 20 years now and know a good and bad facility when I see one. This is a very good facility. Blaire House Milford is family owned and operated. The president Frank is a Vet and takes great pride in not only great quality care but the physical aspect of the facilities that he owns as well.
  Frank is 76 and he still visits all of his facilities every weekend and tours to check for odors, cleanliness and food quality. He also knows most of his staff by name.
  Blaire House of Milford just recently built a brand new state of the art Adult Day Health complex and a brand new Assisted Living facility.
  Unlike the large chains, (whom I have also worked for) you will receive superb quality care with family onsite. Owners son is the administrator of the facility. I recently had lunch with the owner and after lunch we went to look at new pictures that he bought to have framed so he could put them up for the Alzheimer residents at his other facility Blaire House Worcester which is an all Dementia based facility. You will never get this at a chain owned facility.
  Lastly folks, when you tour one of these facilities for any company there will be some order from time to time, especially in the early morning hours. It is part of the business. That said be sure to mention it the to the facility administrator at any facility so they can fix it if it indeed the carpet, most likely though you visited during personal care time.
