We've recently moved back to the area, where I grew up. We've had a few small issues with our cars (small sunroof leak, door handle popped off, etc). Nothing major, but things we worried about having to leave our cars for extended periods or have to pay a decent amount for right after an expensive move when we're just trying to nurse older vehicles through a couple more years of service. We picked G-Shop blind, simply because it was within walking distance of where we are currently renting, in case we had to leave our vehicles.
We could not be happier with our choice! Most of our issues ended up being fixable within a few minute using just a couple hand tools, and in those cases the folks at g-shop not only came right out and did it in front of us, but didn't even charge us! We really appreciate this, as I feel less reputable or corporate shops likely would have charged AT LEAST an hours labor, possibly mysterious parts fees, and almost certainly made us leave our cars. The one fix that we did have to leave a car for had less than a day turn-around and we were charged a VERY reasonable fee. Again, much less than I would have expected. I know G-shop's focus seems to be on commercial trucks and classic cars, but please bring them your business on your every day vehicles as well. You won't be disappointed.
