On June 4, 2019 my husband was released from Providence Hospital Southfield. I received a call he next morning from Remedy Home Health Inc. That day the nurse came and evaluated him. She made sure that our daughter and I had no questions and gave us her phone number. Every nurse that came spent quality time with David and always made sure we knew how to reach them.
A schedule was set weekly for PT, the nurses, and Speech Therapy. Todd came 3 times a week. Todd is very passionate about what he does. His promptness, knowledge, and personal concern was impressive.
Carrie Kane was the speech therapist. She loves her job and it shows. Carrie always accommodated to Davids needs while "pushing him" to regain the ability to swallow. We give God and Carrie credit for David regaining the ability to swallow and eat normally.Carrie is a compassionate and very knowledgeable in her field.
Overall we would recommend Remedy Home Health to anyone.
The Remedy Home Health staff truly care about their patients. All of the staff members that I have worked with have treated me with dignity and respect. I have struggled with a variety of wounds. The nurses and therapists actually work as a team and come up with creative ways to treat the wounds I have battled. The nurses wound treatment, and the therapists willingness to provide me with a homemade cushion specifically designed to take pressure off my wounds, helped heal wounds that had been treated unsuccessfully by other companies for over a year. They made me feel like I was part of their family.
Todd, the Physical Therapist was appropriate with my 93-year old mother’s physical needs. Todd knew when to push my mother and to give her proper breaks between exercises. Todd’s personality was “charming” according to my Mom. Todd conducted his sessions with my mother in a professional manner.
Todd was a blessing for my father in law. Todd showed him kindness and compassion. My father in law was able to stay home longer with the therapy he received from Todd. Todd, thank you so much for the great care that you gave to him.
Todd and Lisa have been fabulous. They are both very professional and great to work with. About one year ago, I had a reverse shoulder replacement. I went to outpatient physical therapy for the time allotted by my insurance. I knew that I needed more.
Todd was recommended to me. So this past January Todd assessed my shoulder and implemented a course of Physical therapy 3 times a week. I’m still doing the physical therapy and now I am playing golf. My shoulder is doing well and I have gained my mobility and strength in that arm. Kiddos to Todd!!!
Also Lisa and Todd have been very accommodating with my schedule. It’s been an extremely positive experience.
