1st impressions mean everything and we had our first class today and the teacher was super nice got right into it. My son had so much fun he got the karate outfit right away and got to take it home. It was an intro class and we are already signed up for our 2nd class I think we will be coming back for a while

Dynamic Martial Arts is a catalyst to growing our young. My daughter, as a 'Lil Dragon' has learned to strengthen her focus, practice better self-control, and find positive role models and exemplary conduct with this dojo. Senpai Grant McBride is firm, but kind and exact in his instruction. Shodans Burns and Bolda bring vigor and positivity to the mat on a daily basis, especially Burn's vocal pitch with the "kiyah." Group instruction is skillfully divided among staff and training belt students. In my half year of observation the instructor to student ratio ranges from 3:5 tp 3:15. Scheduling is flexible and designed for suburban parent schedules. The instructors are aware of best practices for education of young learners. Basics of Japanese numeracy, soft skills like respect and sharing, and adherence to force as defense are reminded. The instructors use flag-sparring to foster non-contact competition among 'Lil Dragon' peers. Fundamentals of blocking and striking are also central. I have seen my child joyfully grow in confidence and physical strength under this professional and dedicated staff. This school of martial arts sensitively navigated the challenges of COVID and the transition to positive normalcy with impressive aplomb. The instructors really care for the students and listen to them. DMA is a success at fostering communication and strength with young learners. They supplement parents' value base to build young individuals.

As a parent of a Junior Black Belt, Brown Belt, and personally a recent Black Belt recipient, I cannot recommend Sensei Davis and his staff enough. Their teachings hold true to Okanawan traditions and Martial Way with elements of other arts and self defense techniques mixed in.

Sensei Davis and staff are great with kids and adults of all ages.. We brought our 12 year old son here about 4 years ago to learn self defense. He's now close to testing for his Jr. Black belt and has been taught much more than karate including discipline, self confidence and respect for all people. I would highly recommend this dojo for you or any member of your family.

My 7 year old son has been at Dynamic Martial Arts for 2 years. The staff is great with the kids. They provide a fun environment for the students to learn and simultaneously teach respect and discipline that have helped my son in school and life. My son has learned the importance of preparation for competition and experienced performing in front of a crowd. This school has helped mold his self confidence and taught him not to let fear stop you from achieving a goal.
