  Caring staff Family atmosphere. I love coming in here weekly and visiting staff and residents, everyone is always friendly and positive!!! This place is just amazing!!

  My mother went into this loving facility back in September 2019 with dementia and when she went in, she was on all the wrong medications from her previous doctors. The staff recommended that she be sent out for a complete detox and to start a new regime of medication to fit her type of dementia. When she came back from the detox, the next day she became very ill with pneumonia and I believe she had covid, but testing had not started yet. I visited with her everyday. The staff took such good care of her while she was so sick and bedridden. She had a full recovery and then the lockdown occured. I went to visit her 2-3 times a week looking through the window as staff would open the window a crack for me and my family to talk to her. Being that there was no physical touch from her family, the staff made sure to give her all the love that we couldn't, as we watched through the window. Unfortunately, my mother's health declined as she was missing her families touch. We ended up putting her on Hospice and were able to go inside the facility. Every visit we had inside the building, most of the residents were in the community rooms, they were clean and well fed. The staff really does a wonderful job with taking care of their health, emotional, mental, and physical needs. I saw first hand how loving they were with her and other residents every time I showed up unannounced. She started hospice November 2021 and amazingly was discharged from hospice February 2022. Unfortunately, her dementia took over and she passed in March. In her final days, the staff allowed my father and I to spend the entire 3 days and 2 nights with her, making us as comfortable as possible. My mother was never in pain and died peacefully with me, my brother, my dad, my aunt, and my cousin. We stayed several hours after her passing for our families to come and say goodbye as we waited for the funeral home to come get her. Many of the staff that knew and took care of my mother came in with hugs and tears as they said their goodbyes as well. Several of the staff members came to the funeral home as well. We now have my father there with Alzheimer's and he is very happy there. I want to thank all the staff (I wish I could name all of you) for the loving care you gave to my mother and now giving to my dad.
