New Oakland Family Centers

I went in to New Oakland Family Center here is Clarkston with a multitude of mental health issues. The Face to Face program was very welcoming and all the group counselors, therapists, nursing staff and psychiatrists were immensely helpful. They really helped me to get to the root of many of my problems and even though I am not “cured”, I have a set of tools to help me get through the dark times.
If you really need more than 1-on-1 counseling and don’t want to be in an inpatient hospital stay, this is a great middle step. You are not alone and there are lots of people who want to help you be the best version of yourself. Take care and be safe.

great place! nick and david were AMAZING therapists that genuinely seemed to care about their patients. i met some great people here and overall i would say that this place helped me when i needed extra care after my inpatient stay. only complaint i have is that i wish i had more one on one time with my individual therapist. if you are struggling with mental illness i highly recommend you come here.

Excellent facility. I just completed the Face to Face program and came out with the tools and knowledge to beat my mental illness. The staff there is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is even thinking about getting help.
