Olympia Taekwondo

I have been training here for more than 3 years and I recently got my blue belt. Olympia has taught me discipline, respect, and made me stronger not just physically but mentally. It’s given me confidence, and Master Alex’s instruction is phenomenal. He is able to teach a room full of sometimes dozens of people, not just kids either. They also host some of the most well-run Taekwondo tournaments in the country. I would highly recommend going here. You will not regret it one bit.

Olympia Taekwondo and the Coverts are the best in the industry!
Our son (9) has been training with Senior Master Alex since he was 4 1/2. He is quite possibly the best coach my husband and myself have encountered. He is knowledgeable, dedicated, and personable. My son is part of the Covert Elite Competition team and has traveled to multiple state tournaments, and to the national tournament the past two years with Master Alex, and his reputation shows even at a national level. He has taught our son respect, dedication, and courage. The Coverts strive to create a family atmosphere that shows within both gyms. Such a shame that "random" internet trolls try to tarnish a hard working family's name and business!

Five stars all around!! Master Alex really helped my son with his confidence, and it truly is a family at Olympia. He really does care about all of the students, knows every single one by name, and has such a talent for knowing just how much to push the kids out of their comfort zone, but not too much. I love that it's not just about taekwondo at Olympia, Master Alex is always talking about treating everyone with kindness and respect, and I love that my son was hearing that message again from someone other than his dad an I! I highly recommend Olympia to anyone and everyone!

After some research and a reliable recommendation, I decided to try out Olympia (Commerce) for my 11 year old daughter. After the first 2 classes, I was convinced of the quality of teaching. Master Alex was training a mat of over 40 people of all ages and not only was he in complete command of the class, but he was welcoming and helpful to my daughter. Not every class is that full, but I was impressed with the strong teaching on that night.
Not only does Olympia teach quality Taekwondo technique, but they also give tough love and motivate students to have integrity and personal responsibility. I overheard Master Alex teaching a young man to help his siblings get dressed for class because "family is everything". He also impressed upon my daughter and 2 other young women in the same class to be good leaders for the other girls coming behind them.
I am proud to be a little part of this Olympia family.
*They also have some great off-mat activities/parties for the parents/adult students. I haven't attended them myself, but I've heard they are great fun!
*They also host an excellent tournament!

Olympia truly is family! They train hard and strive for the best. The staff are amazing, you can tell they love their job and their students. Early on my two kids were not doing so well with their wheelbarrow walk. Master Alex picked my daughter up by her ankles and carried her upside down the rest of the way. It was at that moment I fell in love with Olympia!
Olympia was our saving grace in the middle of the pandemic, a place for normal and to be around other kids.
Olympia’s trunk or treat is fun and picnic testing is a blast!
