My daughter has been attending ABA therapy at the North Oakland Autism Center for the past 16 months. She attends 5 days per week and absolutely loves it there. I knew it was critical to find a program that she actually enjoyed, because she learns best when she feels comfortable and safe in her surroundings (probably true of most kiddos).

After 6 months at NOAC, she was regularly communicating her wants and.needs, showing genuine interest in learning functional language, etc... I could not be more grateful for the staff at NOAC. They are simply amazing. They are always happy to offer suggestions or solutions regarding what I can do at home to help reinforce the behaviors and concepts she's currently working on, and they even help me out with other challenges unrelated to ABA. To say NOAC's management team and staff "go the extra mile" for the kids and their families would be an understatement.

ABA is one of the most effective treatment options for those on the spectrum, and it's most effective when introduced at a young age. I hope my review of NOAC is helpful to other parents as they seek the best treatment options for their children. Autism moms & dads -- please feel free to contact me through NOAC if you have any questions about our experience.

This is a great place. The ABA therapists are doing a fantastic job with my son. We have seen significant improvement in his social skills and his willingness to engage his siblings.

The staff members are friendly, well educated and demonstate the knowledge, skills and abilities to work with children who are on the spectrum. I have observed the "passion" of the staff working with our grandson and others at NOAC. That passion comes thru when you talk with them. They really enjoy what they do and use it motivate the children. Thanks for putting this talented group together and I thank them for being available and sharing.

We have had a great experience at the Center. Our son was diagnosed with Autism several months ago and they recommended ABA Intensive Therapy. We spoke to many centers and toured two of them. We chose North Oakland because it was more of a preschool/kindergarten environment, they have a playground area and everything for the kids. I interviewed the director of the school, she was very competent and enthusiastic about helping the kids.

Our son has been there two months and is developing at a rapid pace. He is doing really well overall, he really likes the school. The staff is friendly and excited about our son's progress almost as much as we are!

I would recommend this school to any family that needs ABA Therapy. You can contact me through the school, if you would like to talk to me directly.
