Green Apple Restaurant Dixie Highway

First time there so I looked at prices and assumed the servings must be small. Wrong. The food was good and we took home enough for lunch the next day. What was really impressive was they were close to closing when I asked for rice pudding and the waitress went in back for a long time, she came back with a huge serving. I recommend the stuffed cabbage and a big appetite. 😋

Delicious food, very reasonably priced, large portions. I had full size grape leaves dinner - they were just how I like them - leaves firm but cooked and tasty rice & ground beef inside. Did not like tomato sauce but I use vinegar anyway. Comes with soup or salad, terrific bread, veggies, and rice or potato. So good and I had plenty to take home 🙂

Fish and chips were really good. Sept 2021, update. OMG, I had the meatloaf. It was amazing. The loaf was baked with bacon and a sweet BBQ sauce, then sliced and lightly grilled and topped with a beef gravy. Every bite had multiple flavors all complimenting each other. The top flavors by the bacon, gave a lite smoke flavor, then the sweet BBQ. The gray was poured up the center. Had with mashed potatoes and corn. Fantastic!
