I have been to other Periodontists in the past, but have never received such a warm, friendly welcoming from a Doctor and his staff! Dr. Kaplan sat with me in his office several times and explained every detail regarding my upcoming procedures! After every process, he called to check on me personally!

I have just completed 2 difficult implants, but with Dr. Kaplan's expertise and patience, we succeeded beautifully!!!

My experience with Dr. Kaplan has been extremely satisfying. My periodontal disease is only moderate, and his recommendations, and treatment, have occurred only after a thorough discussion and explanation of my options. His technical skills are superb, and my results have been great. He is great at communication with me and with my regular dentist. Even though he is specialist, he really takes a comprehensive approach to my dental care. He is excellent at inspiring trust and confidence. And he also has a good sense of humor and an easy way with his patients. His staff is warm and friendly, and I actually enjoy my trips to his office for maintenance cleaning. I have been a patient of Dr. Mitch Kaplan for about 5 years. I was referred to him by my dentist, as there was concern about deep pockets in my gums and periodontal disease. In 2015, Dr. Kaplan did surgery that took care of two major problem areas and significantly improved my oral health. Following surgery, I had regular check-ups with him, and periodic deep cleaning of my teeth by his dental hygienists, alternating with cleanings by my regular dentist. In a recent checkup, Dr. Kaplan noticed that one of the pockets was growing again, and he explained to me the treatment options, and we agreed that it was best to again do some surgery. I have been deeply impressed by Dr. Kaplan’s surgical skills and his demonstrated deep knowledge of the newest developments in his field. He has a wonderful and friendly way to interact with patients and his staff. After every consultation, he brought me into his office and spent quality time to explain to me his observations during the exams, and also showing me X-rays and other details. He also provided exceptional personal follow up, calling me the evening after my surgery. It became clear to me, being a scientist and educator myself, that Dr. Kaplan has vast knowledge and insight into the scientific underpinnings of his field, and he combines this with gifted hands and a calm spirit making him a natural as a surgeon. Dr. Kaplan holds not only a DDS degree (Doctorate in Dental Surgery), but also a PhD degree, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. To become a Diplomate, a periodontist has to have made significant achievement beyond the educational requirements of periodontics, and has to be certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
I have come to trust Dr. Kaplan without any reservation. He has not only educated me about the treatment options and provided excellent guidance how I could help improve my oral health by appropriate dental hygiene, but also helped me with timely surgical interventions that had great outcomes. Kudos are also due to his staff. They are friendly, professional, and highly skilled. If there were a ranking, Dr. Kaplan and his professional team would get top 5 stars! This is a great place! Each and every person that I’ve dealt with from this office is amazing! Dr. Kaplan is top-notch, of course, but he has surrounded himself with a staff that can’t be beat! They are all very efficient, organized and professional. They all excel at their job functions! Most importantly though, they are compassionate and take the time to make sure that you are comfortable and that your experience there is the best it can be. Previously, I was not a fan of having dental work done but that has changed since coming to this office!
