Ann Arbor Youth Chorale

If you like to sing, join Ann Arbor Youth Chorale. You are surrounded by people who love to sing as much as you do. We also have amazing opportunities, such as singing with the Flint and Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestras. I spent four years in AAYC, though I know kids who sang in it for six and seven year. AAYC was my second family for years, and I highly recommend it anyone who likes singing. Some people had the concern that kids didn't have chances to talk to friends, but I disagree. During rehearsal, we rehearse. Before rehearsal, and for Concert Choir during break, we have plenty of time to talk and make friends.

I was in Descant choir for three years and Concert choir for one, and it has helped me and my voice grow. I some great friends there. The directors for both concert and descant choir want to make the kids sound good and both directors foster a great environment to learn more about singing chorally. Furthermore, the choir allowed me more than just what my elementary school music program was doing. I learned a lot about how to behave and act while performing, technique things, and it really did help my voice grow a lot. I had a very good experience there and highly recommend it for any young person who is interested in singing.

I highly recommend AAYC. It's a great opportunity to meet new friends and have fun. Even though the instructors work you hard, they only make you better. Ann Arbor Youth Chorale is amazing, and if you are on the fence about joining just know that you will get your money's worth!
