The snow storm has started coming in and everyone was running for shelter. What better place to be with the kids and family then at this wonderful little apple orchard nestled out in the country. Because of the storm not many people were there, but usually this place is packed. Sometimes you can’t even get into the parking lot it’s so full. The apples and fresh cider and fresh donuts are always wonderful. I highly recommend it. And the people are very very friendly.
A very nice place to pick apples, pears, berries, and get fresh donuts. Flat field. Variety of apples to pick from. Can walk or drive through it.
Every year. We come.
Every year. We are happy.
The freshly baked donuts, the beautiful apples or the great pumpkin.
Yes, it is crowded. Yes. But there is a reason, this is not an overrated place.
We Love them.
Visited on a school field trip. Farmer John was very good and patient with the kids and provided great, age-appropriate information in the trees, apples, bees, and farm. Slices of several apple varieties were provided throughout (which had the added bonus of keeping small mouths busy during the seated portion.)
The tour of the farm included the cider press and refrigerated rooms, withe the luck of seeing a forklift in motion. Donut and cider was provided at the end of the tour.
Students were able to pick 5 apples each.
First time going apple picking with family. My 6y really enjoyed. They have ladders to use to pick the higher ones off the branches. They opened only 3 types for apples for picking. Gala, Prime Gold and Macintosh. Gala and Prime gold are sweet. Its a good first time experience for cheap. PET Friendly. They also have a small store that sell donuts and cider.
