  When it was time to have the exterior of my home, the interior of my garage painted and my deck stained, I followed my typical protocol of interviewing three different companies to decide which company I would choose for the project. From those interviews, I decided to hire Adam and his team at Thomas Brothers Painting, and I’m so glad I did!
  
  Before I share my experience with Adam and his team, here’s a little backstory on how I came to interview Adam, which may have been kismet. I was very close to hiring another company for the job when I saw one of Adam’s vans on the road, which has an abbreviated quote from Aristotle on the side of the van, “Excellence is not act act, but a habit”. This is a quote I’m very familiar with as I actually have the whole quote in the signature line of emails I send. Seeing that quote inspired me to contact Adam to have him quote the work. The short story is Adam and his team would have made Aristotle VERY proud.
  
  My home is a cedar ranch that I had built for me 30 years ago. In my entire time of ownership my home was painted pretty much the same color. However, this time around my wife and I, in consultation with Adam, decided to change the color of the main body of the home and then have all of the trim done in a different complimentary color; and we could not be happier with end results. In our 30 years of ownership our home has never looked better!
  
  Anyone who knows me knows my OCD gene is not recessive. I have to admit, to say I’m particular would be a pretty major understatement. With that said, anytime I brought to Adam’s attention something I needed/wanted tweaked or added to the scope of the project, he did it promptly without any sense of “man are you ever fussy”, which I actually would have understood, because I know I am.
  
  Adam and his entire team do exceptional work. And, as an added bonus to the great work they do, they’re also a great group of guys. Everyone on the team from Adam, Peter, Gabriel and Jacob were an absolute pleasure to have at our home.
  
  One of the things I really appreciated about Adam, besides the great work he and his team do, was how good he was about returning phone call or texts. The same can be said about how quickly Adam submitted his bid for the work to be done.
  
  I could certainly go on and on about how great Adam and his team are. Suffice to say, I no longer feel the need to interview three painters the next time I have painting needs as Adam is the only one I will use from here on out! I’ve already referred Adam and his team to two of my friends, both of whom have thanked me profusely for the recommendation.
  
  For a really well-written review on Adam and his team I suggest you read bbcornish’s wonderful Google review from three years ago. I concur !00% with what was shared in that review.
  
  So when it’s time for you to hire a painter, do yourself a favor and just hire Thomas Brothers, you’ll be glad you did!

  They painted the outside of our home this week. Great work! Large crew gets it done very quickly! Highly recommend!

  Our 110 year old home needed help. We have lived in this residence for almost 43 years and now it needed more than just “band-aiding.” After checking out several companies, to the rescue came the Thomas Brothers Painting Company. We were immediately impressed in the first contact when Adam surveyed the problems and presented a plan of action, with reasonable estimated costs as to what would be involved. It was definitely a challenge that they were willing to take on.
  
  From the very beginning a team arrived with tools, energy and a focus. Other than the unplanned heavy rains, the preparations of power washing the old wood siding with its peeling paint, followed by detailed scraping every surface was under motion. We have never witnessed the incredible teamwork that these gentlemen demonstrated. They replaced the lower 3 sections of water-damaged siding with Hardie-Board to make it longer lasting and more durable. There was a lot of communication with us; a definite focus on positive customer relations was always evident! Each morning started with welcoming smiles and a sense of humor as they unloaded heavy equipment, ladders and other necessary tools. Each person was positive and self-directed as the work progressed. At times the heat and humidity of Michigan's notorious summer weather would have slowed down most workmen, but not these guys. We don't even know if they took any breaks other than a brief lunch. They were working on site until late each afternoon.
  
  Every day there was visible progress. The two vans always arrived at a usual, early expected time. Base coats were applied then this awesome teamwork continued with the final color. It was obvious that they wanted to be on schedule. The painting was exciting to watch as each member of the team was “armed” with rollers and brushes attending to each section of siding. The flurry of action was like a group of worker bees. This company was detail-oriented with perfection as a goal. The trim work will be finished today and we feel like they have given our home new life. This labor of love that they took on will always make them a part of this residence.
  
  We would highly recommend this fantastic business. Their work ethic is something to behold and they are terrific, inspiring role-models for others. The world needs more dedicated individuals like them who can work productively with their team and those who hire them!!!
