Direct Optical Optique Canton

Direct Optical is always my favorite place to go to for my vision needs. There are lots of glasses to pick from. I lost my previous favorite glasses but was able to find another pair that was almost exactly the same style. I'm always satisfied with my prescriptions and frames. I've been coming here for 9 years now.

Direct Optical of Canton is absolutely wonderful to work with. Mariana and her staff are truly exceptional. Their customer service is top-notch, and they always go above and beyond to sure I feel welcomed and comfortable. Not only are they friendly and welcoming, but they are also very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of eyeglasses or an exam. They truly care about their customers and their intentions are always to help and solve any problems you may have. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else for my eyeglasses and exams. Please read! First time visiting an optical store. From the second I walked in I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Didn't know what to expect as this is first time ever I've needed glasses. They explained the process and we're extremely patient in finding the perfect pair of glasses for me. (And this wasn't easy as I'm not used to wearing glasses at all). I definitely recommend to all. Friendly staff, clean environment with plenty of options. Thank you Mariana and Robert for your input and professional services. 😎 I think I'll be cooler with the glasses we chose. Lol.

Where do I start? My initial experience was horrible, simply terrifying, but, not because of Direct Optical. For vision insurance I have VSP-the WORST ever! Due to the policy requirements issued by VSP, all insured must get their lenses made in their lab. This is where the nightmare begins. My frames were shipped and a week had passed. I called Direct optical to check the status, the time frame quoted didn’t meet my urgency but I understood. It’s now Monday of the second week and I contacted VSP lab to be provided with their turn time and they flat out lied like Pinocchio! They told me my frames were shipped on Friday. They told DO they were shipped that day-( Monday). I called back a few hours later and they told me it was a breakage in the lenses. At this point, I was livid. I drove 50 minutes to their lab, retrieved my “shipped,” frames and headed back home. During this nightmare, I contacted the owner, Mariana. She immediately validated my experience with VSP, apologized and with urgency wanted to resolve the matter. She ordered new lenses, while waiting for them to arrive, she cut me lenses in her lab ( at no cost) to hold me over until my transitional lenses arrived. She did a stellar job and validated my experience. We ventured from talking about glasses to mental health, fashion, values and integrity. Just life altogether! The girl can talk! Lol. As I sit at her Canton location waiting for my frames to be completed, I am pleased by her professionalism. She met me with grace and kindness. She met me on a human level. She was willing to do whatever it took to ensure I was satisfied, and I am! I didn’t imagine her and I meeting this way( it’s been almost a month) but I think I found a new place to spend my bucks! Mariana, thank you, dear. You’re a jewel and I wish nothing but prosperity to you!

I love Direct Optical, I give out their info any time someone compliments my glasses. The staff is wonderful and works really hard to make sure that I have what I want/need and that I look good in my new frames. This is the 4th year that I’ve had an exam with Dr. Karana and she has done a fabulous job helping correct my vision. Hands down would recommend going here rather than a chain. Much more personal attention and they truly treat you like family. It’s starts at the top with the owner, Mariana who always make sure that everyone is taken care of and she takes a lot of pride in what they do and it’s apparent by the number of people who have been customers there since they opened.

I recommed Direct Optical Optique to everyone. They have very beautiful and stylish frames great customer service and a awesome owner.
I purchased 2 pair of glasses for myself but I eliminated the progressive lens this time around. I picked up the 1st pair wore them to work and immediately knew that I made a big mistake in not getting the progressive lens. Today, I picked up the 2nd pair and met the owner Marianna. I explained to her my issue she was so great in helping me replace my lenses so that I could fully enjoy my new glasses. I'm so appreciative because other optical stores wouldn't be as accommodating. I will recommend everyone I know who wear glasses here and forever purchase my eyeglasses from Direct Optical Optique. ❤❤
