(November 2, 2017, 10:00 pm)I have the honor to teach kindergarten at Carleton. This is my second year there and I am overwhelmed by the love and support of the staff, administrators, families and children. Everyone comes together to help one another. It is a Leader in Me School and the atmosphere is different from anything I've ever experienced in my 18+ years with DPSCD. Students get to learn academics and life skills beyond the classroom. We offer all kinds of opportunities for students to learn sports, arts and crafts, dance, computer homework help, soccer...all after school. The parents have been actively running the PTA organization and have there own room where parents can get the support they need. Teachers collaborate so that children are getting the best education. It's been a wonderful place to work!
