I had my rotator cuff torn off the bone. Dr Crawford repaired this for me 5 years ago. Right now it’s like it never even happened.
Three months ago I had a full knee replacement by Dr Crawford. Besides a little stiffness ( which expected at this point) I have total range of motion and am back to my normal routine. I am very impressed with the surgical skills of this man. I am truly impressed with my recovery from both procedures and unequivocally recommend Dr Crawford for any of your orthopedic needs.
This Doctor is incredible. I was up walking, and able to put weight on my knee just days after my arthroscopic surgery. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend them all 100%.
I recently had an arthroscopic knee surgery performed by Dr. Crawford. He also replaced my other knee in 2018. In addition he replaced my husbands hip this year as well. Dr. Crawford is an excellent doctor, very experienced and knowledgeable. I gave him 4 stars for the following reasons.
My surgery was performed at Advanced Surgery Center in Southfield. Upon arrival, I was rushed back immediately for surgery. The nurse hurriedly attempted to start my I.v. She burst 2 veins, one each hand, (very painful!) She then asked the anesthesiologist to find a vein, but his initial attempt did not work either. I was then put to sleep with gas before they could proceed with the surgery.
Upon waking up, Dr. Crawford had left so I could not ask any questions or find out how the surgery went. Staff insisted that I sign paperwork before I was even alert. This was last Friday. The discharge instructions were a one page check list. I had no way of knowing when to begin exercising, or even which exercises to perform. No instructions were given. No one phoned on Monday to check on me. Today I am searching on line for exercises for myself.
Dr. Crawford, you are great at what you do but please provide better customer service. Talk to your patients, checkup on them after surgery or better still, stay until the patient wakes up from anesthesia. As patients, we should not go home confused and stressed. We are not just paydays for you and your staff.
