J Michael Salon

We love the salon, and we absolutely LOVE Mary Lytle. She's been doing my hair for years, and now does both my girls as well. She's the absolute best!

I haven’t gotten my hair cut in a long time and was scared to do something new. My hairstylist Christy read my mind and gave me a beautiful cut and respected my wishes to keep my hair long. She was clearly very talented and knew what she was doing. I had a great experience here ! It was very clean and clearly well run.

Hannah H. is magical. If you need your hair colored, see her! I was unsure of how to explain exactly what I wanted, and Hannah took the time to talk with me and ask questions to really understand what I wanted. She took her time, asked clarifying questions throughout the process, and made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. My hair turned out better than I can put into words. I am stunned at how beautiful it is and so appreciative of Hannah for being patient with me and working magic on my hair. I will definitely be going back to see her.
(For reference, my hair is naturally an ashy brown. I knew I wanted my hair to be lighter and for it to look natural but I wasn’t sure how to go about it. See the pictures for how perfect it turned out!)

I followed Hannah to J Michael from her previous salon, and I cannot recommend her enough! She has been doing my hair since I moved to the area in 2021 and does an amazing job every single time. I have very fine, delicate hair and Hannah has been able to get me to blonde while keeping my hair healthy and without the damage I have had in the past. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly has always made me feel comfortable and confident. She is great at what she does and I have never been happier with my hair, 10/10 recommend scheduling an appointment with Hannah.

Updated 04/2023: I've been coming to this salon for over a year now and I'm just as happy as I was on my first visit.

Everyone here is really friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. There is a really nice feel to this place that makes it better than other salons I've been to over the years. The general atmosphere is really relaxing and comforting, and the stylists are so nice and engaging.

The salon is always clean and the pricing is comparable to other places.

While I've only seen my stylist here, I've seen a lot of the finished work by other stylists and they all do a really great job; I don't think anyone would be disappointed. The stylists are all very talented.

I followed my stylist here. It's a nice salon. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. It's bigger than it appears from the outside. The decor / aesthetic is nice.
