Dr. Butto and Dr. Ellison are an absolute breath of fresh air! After having met both, I wondered if they were really too good to be true. I have after referred numerous friends to them for OB care, I have to admit I am absolutely blown away by the quality of care that their patients receive. Dr. Ellison and her patience, gentle nature, and knowledge of her craft are second to none. Dr. Butto has all the qualities one looks for in a physician, but rarely finds. Watching Dr. Butto deliver was like watching a “work of art”. Also the nurses and front desk staff in the office are fabulous. I urge anyone seeking OB care to put Dr. Butto and Dr. Ellison at the top of your list!
I LOVE dr.butto. He literally gave me answers I was looking for over 2 years and 4 doctors later. Dr butto actually CARES and listens. He provides so much information. All the MAs are wonderful! Kelly at the front is always so nice and helpful! I honestly feel like you are in the best care for the Downriver community at this office. I did not have a good experience with Dr. Ellison my very first prenatal visit and always had some miscommunication for some reason. But, overall- Butto is amazing! Anywhere in the Downriver area, I would suggest him 100%.
I'm thinking the people who left bad reviews are the people who want what they want, and they want it NOW. If you demand service the moment you step in the door, yes it will rub people the wrong way and potentially strike a nerve with the staff. People like that shouldn't be allowed to write reviews lol. I switched to butto and Ellison from a practice in Livonia. I went from feeling like a number to a patient in just one visit. I've been with them for a couple months now and feel like I've know them all my whole life. Rose and Kelly are extra friendly and informative, Ashley the nurse has been nothing but sweet the whole time, and the doctors truly care about my thoughts and take all the time they need making sure I understand everything that's going on. I couldn't be more impressed with the practice as a whole and would recommend them to anybody.
Best ob/gyn I have ever met. Him and his wife made my experiences there unforgettable in a great way. I had two difficult pregnancies and tough deliveries and Dr. Butto worked hard to decrease my anxiety throughout the whole process. Would recommend him to all.
Dr Butto is the most amazing, caring, thorough doctor I've ever seen. After years of horrible period pain and 3 doctors that brushed it off as normal Dr Butto cared enough to look deeper and diagnosed me with endometriosis. If it weren't for him I wouldn't have my childrenand would still be in terrible pain. He's honestly changed my life. His whole staff is great and I absolutely loved my experience during my pregnancy and delivery with Dr Butto, his staff, and the staff at Beaumont Southshore Labor & Delivery. I refer anyone who listens to see him.
