I will come here for all of my welding needs. I am a HS tech. ed. teacher and am fairly inexperienced welder. However, I am learning and teaching my students at the same time. Mike does a great job at answering my questions and I recommend this business to anyone. A+ service!!
Update: MPLS Oxygen has been a huge asset to our welding program and we have experienced huge growth! They continue to be the best supplier for our welding needs and have helped us connect with local industry. I continue to recommend them to anyone.
Stopped in today to purchase a 5 lb. CO2 tank for carbonating beverages (I'm hooking it up to a soda stream but it's the same type of tank you'd use for beer). I believe I worked with Mike; he was friendly and helpful, and I'll definitely be back when it's time to get the tank refilled.
I used them today (Ham Lake locaton) to exchange two CO2 Tanks for my Beer Kegerator. They could not have been more helpful and friendly. They also offered up some good advice on tracking my usage as well as checking for links. I'll be back for sure!
I am in looking for a welder. I am very inexperienced but Minneapolis Oxygen came highly recommended by a couple of my neighbors both for price and service. They both bought their welders at the same location. Mike was very helpful and was able to thoroughly answer all of my questions. Prices were good and I ended up buying a Millermatic 211 which I have now used and am VERY happy with. I am already able to get good quality welds on both steel and aluminum (spool gun). If you are in the market for a welder and are new to the game, Mike can help you understand what you'll need and what you won't. I will continue to buy any consumables from here in the future.
I've been going to the Ham Lake location ever since I was a kid with my dad. Mike has always been very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. When I bought my first welder at 12 he helped me get everything I needed and even took me into the demo area and taught me the basics. The pricing has always been fair and hands down beats places like Northern on cylinder purchase and fills! I would highly recommend this store to anyone in need of welding or gas supplies.
