CJ's Outboard Repair

I purchased a used outboard and had no idea hold old the previous impellor was, so I contacted CJ's at 9 am, brought it in at 1130 and received a call at 2 pm it was finished! The best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Price was fair, service was outstanding! Highly recommend!!

My old 110 hp Johnson outboard was doing what old outboards do best; choking and sputtering. Dropped it off at cj's on Tuesday, got a call explaining the issues Wednesday, picked it back up Thursday. Fast, efficient, and no price gouging. Now my motor is doing what old outboards do second best; pushing boats across lakes.

I worked on my 1996 Mariner 15HP for 4 days trying to get it to run. Pulled everything apart, cleaned and re-assempled. Still nothing. Brought it to CJ's and dropped it off on Monday afternoon. Had the motor back by Wednesday. The fuel pump was not working correctly. He install new seals and a gasket kit. Very reasonable total cost for labor and parts. I was amazed. Now, I prime it once, pull the recoil handle and away we go!!!

After replacing a water pump on my old Mercury 9.8 I could not get the linkage for the shift mechanism to line up. CJ got it working, changed the lower end lube, and replaced a small part he had found had cracked. All this was done quickly and at a fair price. Excellent communication throughout.
