Been going to Joe for 10 years. No nonsense git er done course. He offers more in-depth classes if you think you need it.

Joe is a great instructor he reiterates how important it is to be a legally responsible citizen to carry a gun on your person. Storytelling is the oldest form of education and the best form to remember. Keep up the good work Joe and I will see you for further training.

This class is straight forward & to the point. Joe teaches you what you CAN & CANNOT do when you receive your conceal & carry within the laws of the State of MN. He was very interesting to listen to & I would highly recommend taking this course with him as he knows what he is talking about & is very knowledgeable.

Joe and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. Probably one of the cheapest options for getting your conceal and carry (most are $100+ and we paid about $65 AND if your wife/girlfriend is uncertain they can come and pay at the end if they want to get their certificate). Joe is very women empowering and offers women specific classes for those who may not be comfortable taking the class with men.
Time went by fast and he was very entertaining. Would definitely recommend his class. He also offers other services (such as selling guns and training on how to shoot).

(He also brought up in his course, if you have a restraining order and fear for your safety, he offers a discount for you to take his corse just give him a call)

Affordable and straight!
At these prices, don't expect anything FANCY here, just some straight talk. If you need someone to hold your hand, this maybe too straight talking for you. You will learn many things and one of them is that in MN, if you carry, you're the person that MUST walk away! Even if in your home. Retreat and live another day! You own what comes out of your weapon. Classes are in the basement of his home along with the firearm shooting. Leave your gun at home as you will be firing his 22 pistol. Parking is limited and remember to bring some cash for the firearm shooting section. (In 2019, it's $10) Per Joe Penaz, he has helped train over 18K people. And if you're a liberal looking to get a permit to carry, well, let's just say, pack your THICK skin for training.
