Some nice hiking, esp. a nice steep uphill climb. Nice views of the river too. Need an annual state parks pass to use the parking lot. Or a one day pass can be purchased for $7.
This is a good view of the lake. We visited over the weekend at Kate evening. They have nice boat rides.
The breathtaking views in Taylor's Falls never disappoints, even in the winter! It would have been great if at least the parking lots were plowed, but I appreciate that it discourages people from hiking on the slippery rock formations and getting injured. I look forward to more adventures at the falls, but next time will only be visiting during Spring - Fall months.
Quick stop to see the bluffs and river valley. You need a state park sticker to park in the lot, and it's usually pretty busy on any non-school day. Rain or shine, it's still a decent view. Wisconsin Interstate has some longer hikes along the river, but this is a good place for a quick stop.
Beautiful day at the falls. Boat ride on the Taylor's Falls Princess was amazing, and well worth the $28.99 for 90 minutes on the river! The weather was perfect. Snacks, drinks, and restrooms on board. We had a great guide, and sometimes he was even funny! 😉
