Been training at the cove for 5 years now I came in with a year of highschool wrestling originally wanted to do mma for fitness as I had a gained substantial amount of weight after highschool and the self defense was an added bonus. Through out the years I found myself wanting to compete more to test myself and eventually found myself in the cage and a kickboxing ring which they help me prepare for very well. The instructors and senior belts are very friendly and helpful. The environment is fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Lots of partners at the ready to either help you learn a Move or sweat a lot haha.

I came to the Warrior’s Cove with essentially no prior martial arts experience, hoping to learn some basic self defense skills. I found a realistic and effective self defense system, but also much more; a passion for martial arts and the incredible experience of sharing it with others as an instructor. The culture at the Warrior’s Cove is incredible. The team is focused on helping everyone improve instead of having something to prove. Most importantly, we prioritize a basis in reality within the bounds of safety.

I grew up wrestling and had put on about 20 lbs since high school after I stopped wrestling. I realized I definitely needed to start working out again, and I was getting bored of running and lifting easily and having a hard time committing to it. A friend of mine recommended the Cove to me, and as soon as I started I just couldn’t stop coming back. The atmosphere is great, everyone was super helpful from the instructors down to other members in class. It is a great workout, and I found it way easier to stick with than running and lifting because you’re actually learning a new, useful skill as well so it’s pretty easy to stay engaged and focused. I am very glad I found the Cove and I intend to keep training here for many, many years to come.

The Warrior’s Cove is a place where you can step right into all of your training (and life) goals no matter where you are on your path. I was a 48 year old single mom with no previous training and a desk job prior to taking my first class at the Cove. I was about 20 pounds overweight, not particularly flexible, and had zero experience in MMA. I was a little worried that I was going to be around a lot of competitive, arrogant, or macho men – but I was completely wrong. EVERYONE at the Cove (instructors and members) was supportive, helpful, and encouraging. I quickly lost weight, gained flexibility and watched my self-confidence and core strength grow. When I hit a wall in my training (due to some past trauma from a previous assault), Mr Arnebeck helped me with strategies to push through the mental and emotional blocks. All of the instructors cheered me on through the challenges I faced over the next couple of months. After incorporating his suggestions (mindfulness and other training techniques), I was able to attend the next review class and was promoted as a result. I cannot adequately describe the deep feeling of gratitude I have for Mr Arnebeck and the instructors at the Warrior’s Cove for helping me through this experience. I am changed for the better and very excited about continuing to grow and learn at the Cove!

I can't say enough positive information about this place. As of right now I have been training for about 7 months and have lost about 30-40 lbs (it took me less then the 7 months to do that). It has given me one of a kind discipline, confidence (not cocky-ness), focus, passion, and a true direction in my life. I was truly lost until I found this place, I didn't think or know I was until I saw the amazing changes. If you are looking for small term goals, this is the place for you. If you are looking for long term goals, this is the place for you. Amazing staff, friendly environment that actually teaches you how to be safe in all areas of life. The community at the gym(s) are also very accepting and open. It has truly changed my life. stop thinking and try it, there is nothing to lose and so many life times of knowledge to gain.
