Moderate size playground with full sized swingset, a little climbing apparatus and a full sized basketball court. There is also a nice fishing pier you can fish off of or just enjoy the view of Hay Lake.
Clean and plenty of things to keep the kids occupied
Good park. Couple slides, swings, small rocks instead of sand. Basketball court is in rough shape but usable. Not bad if you need a park for a picnic. There is a pond down the hill that you can look at as well (not for people to get in, just for looking at).
I have to disagree with the other reviewer. About a third of the equipment was the perfect size for my newly walking toddler. We actually visit this park instead of our closer neighborhood one, because it is easier for my youngest to play here. The portion I am showing in my picture is short enough that I can walk along side it with her. Fun for all ages - a big field for frisbee, soccer or baseball, basketball court and a dock.
This is a good park with features generally geared towards kids older then 3, but a good portion of the playground is manageable for younger kids who are agile or more athletic. 4 small slides are good for little ones, and two "baby" swings along with two traditional swings complete this playground. A host of monkey bars, rings, a climbing structure and 2 tall slides are here as well.
There is an adjacent basketball hoop and hard court, along with a large grassy play area that is flat enough for playing field games etc. In 2019 a new fishing pier was added, though the lake is a bit choked with algae and other vegetation.
Great little gem of a park that misses a fair amount of traffic due to its location.
