The Nichols Inn

Even tough my stay was short I really enjoyed my stay here. Place/rooms are a little old and small but overall nice, good service and breakfast bar is great; there's an omelet press and they even have flour tortillas to make your own breakfast burrito 🌯

After having a nightmare experience across the street, we were welcomed by amazing staff with smiling faces and such wonderful personalities! My husband and I had a rare weekend getaway planned and the staff was so accommodating after calling around every hotel in the city. We stayed two days, the breakfast was great! Pool and hot tub were a great perk too! Jeremy and I would stay here again in a heartbeat thank you for the wonderful weekend away!! I don’t recall the name of the kind gentleman who went above and beyond getting me in touch with Ann. Thank you all!!!

I stay in hotels quite a bit for work.
I was here for 16 days. The rooms were clean and simple. The 5 stars comes from the amazing staff. Every morning when I walked down the stairs I was genuinely greeted. Every time I walked in the door after a 14 hour day, I was genuinely greeted. It really made me feel welcomed in a way that I haven't been at other hotel chains. A colleague and I were looking for a newspaper so we could do the crossword. There wasn't one but the next day when I got home from work, there was a stack at my room door with a note from Jerri who acquired several crosswords for us. It was so thoughtful and so kind. If I ever have a need to come back to Hastings, this is where I'll stay!
