(September 23, 2021, 10:28 pm)Truly a beautiful place for a bike ride. We parked and entered the trail at the old west main entrance. Easy place to park off street. The trail was clean but the reason for 4 stars is that it really needs to be re-paved. It's showing its age.
What I love about this trail is for a while you can here highway 61 off in the distance and the slowly but surely the sound is gone and is replaced with birds and serenity.
There are multiple places to stop and rest along the way with benches overlooking beautiful scenery. There are plenty of outhouses and little bike tuneup stands.
I do recommend coming here for a bike ride. -
