John's name came up when I had ordered a violin for my 7 year old and it came broken, and I was researching hoping to find someone to repair or purchase a quality one from.
John emailed me back quickly, and invited us to his workshop to measure my daughter and determine the right size for her. He walked us through the importance of a correctly sized violin for a beginner, gave us many resources to get her started, and happily entertained all my daughters questions on his in progress cello's he was crafting.
John is kind, and an absolute wealth of knowledge. My daughter walked out of there with stars in her eyes and over the moon with excitement to start her journey on learning to play the violin.
