(March 4, 2023, 2:15 am)Stillwater Kilts is primarily an online store. If you are in the Minnesota area you can call and setup an appointment to stop by. (You may even be lucky enough to meet one of the owners flying squirrels I was not so lucky)
First off amazing Kilt Pins. The quality of which I have not seen. Jerry the owner does a great job on them. The kilts they have in stock or more of the larger known tartans. So if you’re looking for your clan you may be out of luck.
If I heard correctly they don’t do custom tartans. But if you want one of their kilts custom sized they will work with you.
The sporrans are really good quality. I picked one up for a benefit dinner I was attending.
Jerry the owner won’t hesitate to have a conversation with you about any number of topics. I almost forgot it was our first time meeting him. Felt like I knew the guy for years.
If you’re looking to support a local family business you have found it. Jerry was very responsive to emails and phone calls. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the service. -

Quality service and product with choices to fit any budget.
Kilt pins are some of the finest. I like the softness of the leather and quality of the sporans he sells as well. The kilts are top notch even on the inexpensive entry level line which I ended up buying two of. I will definitely be buying more stuff from Still Water Kilts again the quality and service are some of the best I and my partner have seen. If you are looking elsewhere take a look here first his prices are great his knowledge is impeccable and he makes the experience enjoyable educational and just all around great. We drrove 4.5 hours one way to see his shop and it was well worth the trip. Thank you Jerry and your little flying squirl for a great time and I hope you enjoy the rest of your birthday today. Thank you for taking time out of your day on your birthday to help us. -

Given that my event was on Saturday and I called Monday with more questions then a 3 year old. The gentlemen that answered the phone (I am sorry I cannot recall his name) quickly and efficiently answered all of my questions and even gave suggestions for other options if I could not find a Prince Charlie jacket in time. Not only did my kilt come in time but it made the event a night to remember. The service at Stillwater Kilts was above and beyond my expectations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. -

Jerry is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, flexible, and answers all questions in detail. His facility is clean and organized. Kilt quality excellent, and priced most reasonably. A reliable resource for any newbie to kiltdom!
