Trillium Midwifery Care

Our experience with Trillium was wonderful and exactly what we were hoping for. Our prenatal visits were comfortable and helpful as we worked to have a healthy pregnancy and prepare for a calm and peaceful home birth. Emme and her team were supportive of the vision we had for our birth, and also offered helpful advice and suggestions as we made our plans. The team was amazing when they quietly arrived on our birth day. They offered the perfect balance of support and space as labor progressed and once our little one had arrived. During the hours after our birth, they were a lovely part of welcoming our baby and our first hours as a larger family. We would highly recommend Emme and Trillium to anyone wanting a beautiful home birth experience.

I was, and am still blown away from the loving, skilled, knowledgeable, nurturing, informative, organized, beautiful, wonderful care we received from Emme and Grace, her midwife in training. Before birth, during labor and after the birth. Emme was so amazing, and completely integral in providing us with professional and personal attention. Which allowed us to feel confident in our home birth decision. We truly could not of been happier with trillium. Our baby was brought into the world with a love and passion for the birthing process. So thankful!!!!! Grateful is probably a better word to use.

I was referred to Emme by a friend of mine and I truly didn’t know what to expect. This was our first home birth and she has become one of my favorite humans on this planet. She even came to my house in the middle of the night and labor slowed.. I felt embarrassed but she kept all love, care and compassion throughout. She’s one of a kind. Even from our first encounter, I felt so comfortable around her and felt I could be transparent without her making me feel bad or uncomfortable. It’s truly hard to explain her ability to calm an environment. She’s very knowledgeable and I will be recommending her to all the pregnant people I know. She gave room for me to grow where I couldn’t see or know that I could grow into. She’s one of those people that you know is probably a really good mom! Gentle and caring yet firm when it’s needed. Oh, and she’s great with pets and so sweet to older siblings!

Where to begin. Trillium Midwifery helped my family feel safe, seen, and loved on so many levels. The care and experience they bring to the table makes one feel extremely comfortable and at ease with giving birth at home. Our birthing experience with Emme will forever mark our hearts. She’s a gem!!!!

Emme has been our midwife for our last three (out of five) babies. She is so warm and lovely, stays up to date on everything in the midwifery world so you can feel safe and cared for in her hands. Our prenatals were an hour long so we had the opportunity to go over a lot and spend quality time together. I also love that she really supported me in running our births the way I wanted - very hands off but she was at the ready when needed. She is always available for emotional support as well whether during pregnancy, at the birth or postpartum. Knowing Emme was there for me, even when quietly knitting on the floor, helped make my births super calm and amazing!
