  You know that feeling when you look back on a difficult decision you made, and you let out a huge sigh of relief because you are now 100% certain you made the correct choice? There was a time I could not imagine this, as a mom with unapologetically high expectations…..but that is exactly where I’m at now. I agonized over what kind of education I wanted for my kids and what the right fit would be for my family (Faith based? STEM? Spanish Immersion? Classical?) Total research and decision fatigue. We really wanted a private Christian school for our kids but took this option off the table when we chose to have a 3rd kid and focused on charter schools. My oldest was accepted and enrolled to a classically based charter…and then COVID hit. Due to our inability to support distance learning we reconsidered private schools (in-person learning) and found our way to HTLA. And I’m so glad we did. Not only is this school considerably more affordable than most other local private schools, but more importantly the quality of education is remarkable. The class sizes are small…Kindergarten was 11 or 12 for the past couple years, so my kids get a ton of individual attention. My son is academically gifted and his teacher was able to work with him, other teachers and us on creative solutions that would keep him challenged and engaged. I’ve no doubt that if he was on the other end and struggling, the same care and effort would have been given to ensure his success. I’m telling you, my kids’ teachers love my children as if they were their own. I’m impressed with the curriculum, the emphasis on character development and focus on Bible study. We were pleased HTLA has a diverse population and plenty of opportunity for exposure to diverse perspective and culture, as that was really important to us. I’ve continued to be impressed with the communication from the teachers, principal and even the board as we head into year 2. HTLA truly feels like family and we feel so so so blessed to have found this school.

  My children have attended a few different Christian schools over the years, and they have all been very good. However, Holy Trinity's academy is the best, for many reasons: the teachers are highly educated, kind and understanding, the students have countless opportunities in both sports and fine arts, the curriculum is challenging yet doable and the children make wonderful friendships. I also love that the school is multiracial. The best thing is that God's Word is taught in truth and expressed in action. Holy Trinity's church is a wonderful place to worship, grow and share your faith and meet fellow Christians. The church has a variety of music and preaching that appeal to most people - both traditional and modern.

  Typical old school Wisconsin Synod church. Feels like home. Sermons are interesting and effective. Parishioners very kind to mask wearing strangers.

  We’ve been very impressed with Holy Trinity Academy. The teachers and staff care deeply for our daughter and do a great job of pushing her to succeed.
