Garden Patch

Beautiful nursery. Healthiest plants in an outdoor setting. It's like a giant garden itself. Tom and Cathy (owners) are the nicest people and encyclopedias of knowledge. I had the privilege of working two summers there and one Halloween. I had so much fun working on the many displays and walk thru scenes. (I would have paid them for the opportunity) *shhh.

Just stopped by for the first time for a few annuals. Absolutely adorable little shop, great selection, quality flowers, staff was very friendly and helpful. Will be stopping by more often!! Highly recommend!

I have now stopped and shopped at The Garden Patch in Excelsior, MN every spring for over 10 year and it is a fantastic find. The roses have been carefully tended so they have an exceptionally healthy root system, and that is what counts in the long run. Lovely lilies, too. The dahlias varieties are the best in the Twin Cities, in my experience.

Established in 1979, owner Thomas Lingo is rich with gardening know-how and has always been happy to pass along his tips. I appreciate their care for pollinators and chemical-free gardening options.

I have learned that it is a privately held company and you can tell that that there is a rich family history and commitment behind it. I have never had a complaint to offer; and am happy to give loads of honest complements.

Surprisingly, they have a rich assortment of both annuals and perennials in their lovely/quaint, sun-sprinkled, and expansive back lot. I recommend that you don't miss it driving by. Take time to walk around and meet these skilled gardeners.

Singing the praises of the Garden Patch as my all time favorite place to buy whatever I need for indoor and outdoor gardening. Great selection of herbs, vegetables, annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, seeds, mulch, soil, pots and containers. Large selection of hostas and other shade plants as well as native prairie flowers and grasses. For the backyard bird enthusiast there are excellent bird seed mixes and high quality bird feeders and accessories. Can't say enough about this wonderful small business and the kind and helpful staff.
